Andersonville Historic District Exhibit

Planning has begun for the Historic District exhibit which will open at the Museum mid February. We are searching for resources about the original owners or businesses. Most buildings were built between 1900 and 1930. If you have ever taken a photo of a business on Clark Street, especially before 1960, we would like to borrow it in order to scan it. Many architects are credited with building the buildings on Clark Street, including Edward Benson and Carl Almquist. Other architects of note are A.E. Norman, Charles Strandel, H.L. Newhouse, Oscar Peterson and Oscar Johnson.

Be sure to stop by the museum to see this exhibit during March, April and May.
