100 years of service

The years 1904-1905 were busy years in Edgewater. This year, several of our churches are celebrating their 100th anniversaries. St. Gregory Church celebrated 100 years in 2004.
Next in line are three very active organizations. One is the North Shore Baptist Church at 5244 N. Lakewood, which was founded in another neighborhood and moved to Edgewater in 1921. Also founded in 1905 was Bethany Lutheran Church at Thorndale and Magnolia. The third church celebrating 100 years is Unity Lutheran Church at the corner of Magnolia and Balmoral. Congratulations to all these wonderful Edgewater religious organizations.
